HYDRASKID 248 - vs - Traditional Methods

The HYDRASKID 248 is a technological improvement that facilitates the following:

  • 4 employees
  • Precise, controlled lifts & holds to 1/8” accuracy
  • Pushing vs Pulling action
  • Short curfews
  • Faster, safer, less expensive, less labor
  • Extremely efficient and economical
  • 3-4 diamonds raises/day
  • 5-6 switch raises/day
  • ROI in 10-20 lifts based on Class I railroad feedback

Historically, most Class I railroads experience the following while performing lifts:

  • Up to 12 employees per lift
  • Inaccurate lifts performed by lurching side booms lifting track
  • Long curfews
  • Lost productivity with delayed trains
  • Dropped ties
  • High cost equipment and labor
